News reaching me this week as indicated by IDC that Samsung as overtook Apple in the Global smartphone market in the first quarter of the year ,as released by a group of researchers on Wednesday. Although this was possible due to the high sales of smartphone by Samsung over Apple.
It was reported by IDC that Samsung sold the total of about 82.4 million smartphone in the early stage of the year..For about 24.5 % percent market share .While Apple sold 61.2 million smartphone in the first quarter of the year with a market share of 18.2% percent market share .According to report the two company Apple and Samsung were tied at 20%percent market share in the early fourth quarter of the year..
Apple has been on the task to lead the smartphone market industry for the year or for some time now ,at least by the fourth quarter of the year but were overtook by Samsung even at the first quarter of the year.. Apple with the launched of IPhone 6 and iPhone 6plus ,which has higher number of demand by customers around the globe ,they couldn't make more sales compared to Samsung ,who is currently leading the smartphones market,as reported and survey which were compiled by IDC .

Chinese manufacturing company Lenovo is on the third position with 5.6% percent market share ,followed by their Chinese counterpart company Huawei with about 5.0% percent market share and finally followed by South Korean LG with 4.6 percent on the fifth position in the smart phones market..It was gathered by IDC that the smartphone market as rise by 16.7% percent from the previous year...
