Airtel ng whatsapp data bundle now 30 mb?.
Airtel Nigeria introduced a whatsapp bundle package sometimes around last year which cost just #100 naira,for a data cap of 50mb .Which can be used to chat on whatsapp for a month.The package really helped as most average customers switch to the plan due to the cost of data in Nigeria... Imaging you getting 50mb for #100 for a month?...what a nice step,instead of paying #200 for the same data cap on a normal data plan on other Telecom companies...But the difference's is that the whatsapp package is meant only for what'sapp only...But that's not really true, a post about the magic of the plan,was published on my blog stating that ,the package can also be used to surf through Opera mini browser and also for BBM ,without any other settings require. if you are on the lucky side...
I guess this was what prompt Airtel.ng to now decided to reduced the data cap by 20mb ....How unfair they are ,about two days ago two of my guys subscribe to the what'sapp package plan and were been given 30mb each... Which simply show that airtel has reduced the data cap by 20mb...So guys you must know how to manage your data usage with this package ,so as not to complain of your data being zap by airtel ...
For now their is no better option to the plan rather than for you to manage it ,or go for their opera mini browser package for #300 naira,for a month with a data cap of 250mb..To subscribe to airtel whatsapp package, dial *948#,and #100 will be deducted from your account, and you will be credited with 30mb instead of 50mb...To check your data dial *885*0# ...Has anyone observed the data reduction recently?....
